Privacy
Poroki collects nothing about the child. This is not a marketing promise, it is how the app is built.
- No account is needed to play. The temporary route keeps nothing: at the end, everything is erased from the device.
- In tracked mode the parent opens a space with an eight-sign key. We have no name and no postal address. An email address is OPTIONAL: it is only ever used to send the key back if it is lost, and can be removed at any time.
- What the parent space holds: the first name the parent chose for the child, the age range, a six-digit code, and the number of right and wrong answers per activity.
- No advertising, no advertising tracker, no cookie beyond the one that keeps the parent signed in.
- Audience measurement cut to the bone: a page-view count, the page, the language and the name of the site people arrive from. No IP address, no identifier, no profile — nothing that could recognise a person from one visit to the next.
- An anonymous counter counts installations: once per device, with no identifier at all.
- Exercises are built on the device. The app works offline, and nothing leaves the phone in temporary mode.
- No data is sold, exchanged or passed to a third party. Hosting is in Europe.
Platform rules
Free of charge
Poroki is free for everyone: families, schools, councils, associations. No licence, no subscription, no in-app purchase, no advertising. In time the project will be supported by donations alone.
Temporary session
Playing without a parent space leaves no trace: progress is erased as soon as the game is closed. That is deliberate.
Saved space
With a parent space, progress is kept on the child’s device. If the child played offline, it is sent back automatically as soon as the connection returns. No personal data about the child is asked for: no surname, no address. The parent may add an optional email, used only to recover the key.
Number of players
A family space holds up to five players. A school or association space has no limit: it is chosen when opening, and stays free.
Unused spaces
A space with no activity for 120 days is deleted, along with the progress it holds. Keeping children’s data nobody looks at any more would make no sense and waste resources. A single visit resets the counter, and the space warns before the deadline.
Offline
Only the chosen language is downloaded to the device, never all seventeen. Changing language adds the new one while the connection is available.
Access and security
A space opens with an eight-sign key and no password. After five wrong keys within five minutes, access is blocked for fifteen minutes: that is what stops a robot trying keys one by one.
Lost key
A recovery email address is OPTIONAL. It can be added when opening the space or later, and is confirmed by a six-digit code valid for fifteen minutes. It serves one purpose only: sending you a new key if you lose yours. Never a newsletter, never shared, and removable in one click. WITHOUT a recovery address, a lost key is lost for good: the space becomes unreachable and will be deleted after 120 days without activity.
Expected use
Poroki is meant for children aged 5 to 15, under an adult’s responsibility. The internal messaging is for questions, reports and game ideas; it is not a public space and must not be used to send children’s personal data.
Your rights
A parent can delete a child from their space at any time: the progress goes with it. To have the whole space erased, write to us from the site with one of your children’s six-digit codes.
